Tractors, Hay Rides and Macaroni...OH MY!

I can't believe my sweet Rhett is 3 YEARS OLD!!! This birthday hit me a little differently for some reason. Rhett has always been my baby. Even when I got pregnant with Holland, he was my self proclaimed baby. Haha! He's just always been my blonde haired blued eyed baby. So for him to turn 3 just felt like time was passing too darn quickly!

Gah, he's just the cutest little thing!

He's totally not the "baby" anymore! He wants to do everything himself, he doesn't want to hold my hand or let me hold him much, he's telling us no more often, standing his ground on things that used to roll off his back and he's entered the "three-nager" curse! Ha! He's still so sweet and thoughtful though!

When I asked him what kind of party he wanted, his answer was consistently "tractor themed" which didn't surprise me because he's obsessed with anything tractor! He also LOVES macaroni...like sometimes that's all he'll eat! So, we got his favorite macaroni from Ricardos...I know...sounds funny! When I called and told them what I wanted they said they'd never done anything like that before but could make it happen! They sure delivered on that because it was delicious!! We also made a couple other kinds of macaroni and had hot dogs and meatballs!

Check out these cookies my good friend made!! They were perfect!

I go pretty simple on cakes, but it was delicious! He was very adamant on a strawberry cake, so that's what he got!

Happy Birthday sweet boy!

Every year on Rhett's birthday I've wanted to do a hayride and it's basically rained or drizzled every year, so I was so excited when the forecast was nice! We pulled it off!!!

Love this sweet thing!

The next day we wanted to continue the celebration, so we went for a little hike in Bixhoma and ate lunch next to what usually is a waterfall, haha! We hadn't had much rain lately, so there wasn't an actual waterfall.

On the way home we were going to stop by the pumpkin patch, but it was CRAZY busy, so we just stopped at a place on the side of the road and picked up a couple pumpkins so the boys could paint and decorate them!

They were so proud! The cats tore off the puff balls that night, so we just keep re-glueing them back on! Haha!

Thank you to everyone who came and made our sweet Rhett feel so special and loved! He definitely had a great time!
