Brooks Turns 4

I can't believe I have a 4 year old! And that his birthday was 2 months ago and I'm just now writing this! Haha! My surgery was actually on Brooks's birthday, so we decided to celebrate his birthday a day early! Who is going to argue with cake a day early? We actually told him it was his birthday the whole day and I felt so bad about being in the hospital on his birthday I made sure everyone was on the same page and no one mentioned that his actual birthday was the next day. My parents watched the kids the first day of my surgery and I told them not to mention it being his actual birthday while I was gone either. So until Brooks reads this one day, he will never know! Ha!

Is he not the most handsome thing!?

We invited our family and lifegroup since they are all people that we have continued to see during this whole covid business. We tried to keep most of it outside, so of course we needed water play since it's blazing hot!

I love this little boy SO MUCH my heart could explode! He is the BEST big brother to both Rhett and Holland! I probably expect a lot from him since he had to grow up rather quickly since Rhett came 15 months later, but my goodness, I am so proud of the little boy he is!

Fun fact...we forget to sing Happy Birthday at every birthday! This is the first year that Brooks knew what to expect and made sure we didn't forget! His birthday Happy Birthday song was at age 4! Haha!

He was so spoiled by friends and family! I think Dinosaurs and Paw Patrol dominated this birthday and I'm pretty sure he wanted it no other way! He was so excited about the new things!

Don't mind the bare shelves and double tv's behind us! This room is a work in progress! HAHA!

Of course this little boy got something from Great Grandma!

We were so happy so many friends and family came to celebrate our sweet boy! We love all of you so much and we thank you for spoiling and loving on our 4 year old! Brooks still talks about how much fun he had at his party!
