Congratulations Addison & John

This past weekend was my sweet little, Addison, and Trevor's fraternity brother, John's wedding. It was in Amarillo, TX and it was so much fun! After celebrating the 4th of July on Thursday in Edmond, a bunch of us carpooled to Amarillo.

Here is an interesting thing we saw along the way...

How is this water tower still standing???
We left Friday morning from Edmond around 11 and got to Amarillo around 4ish. We missed our exit a few times trying to find the hotel, but we finally made it. Addison and John made the sweetest gift baskets for those staying in the hotel (the photo of the cookie up top was from the gift bag).

That night we had the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, so we went to the First Presbyterian Church for the rehearsal and then went to the River Breaks Ranch for the dinner. Apparently there are two different River Breaks Ranch in Amarillo (not even close to the same type of place) and of course, we got lost...again. But we finally made it! When we arrived they were having horse races. It was really neat; they had 8 horses and they broke them into groups and would race them. Everyone at the dinner got to bet (with fake money) on a horse! Between me and Trevor, we won every race! GO us! After the races we had dinner. Chicken fried steak, baked potatoes, salad, rolls...it was all delicious! After dinner, they showed a slide show of their relationship since they started dating. It was so sweet! To wrap up the night, they had some live music with LOTS of dancing!!

Isn't she just beautiful?!
Handsome guys: Rhett, Brady, John, Trevor and Price
Since we had a ton of college friends come in town for this wedding we decided to go out that night to a place called Mulligans.

the lighting is a bit weird, but I just love this guy!

That night everyone ended up coming back to our hotel room...and needless to say, when a bunch of frat guys get together after college, they instantly act like they are freshman again. So you can imagine how much sleep I got! :(
A little dark...but here is Lokey and Schemmer sharing a twin size air mattress in our room on the floor!
The next morning I had to get up early (especially early seeing as the guys didn't leave until around 4) to go to a bridal breakfast. I didn't get any pictures, but it was really neat. It was on the 30ish floor of a building downtown Amarillo and we were served a delicious breakfast that consisted of crepes, chocolate covered strawberries, mimosas and fruit. YUM!

Next up was the wonderful wedding and reception...the reception was located at Piehl Bar and it was absolutely beautiful!!
She really is the most beautiful bride I have seen!

A wonderful ceremony

My FAVORITE pic of the night. The country is just peaceful!
There was LOTS of dancing!!!

Father-Daughter! So Sweet!

Love these two!

A lot of people stayed to dance the night away!

Love these guys!
We had an AWESOME time in Amarillo celebrating a WONDERFUL couple and hanging out with great friends! I can't wait for them to open the gift we got them!...I'll have to share after they have opened it. It's an idea I got on pinterest and had my cousin put his talent to good use!
On our way out of town we ate at Buffalo (which is a go-to place for our group of friends!) When we got home we had a massive load of laundry!

How do two people go through this much laundry so quickly! I'm still not finished with all of it!
CONGRATS TO ADDISON AND JOHN!! WE LOVE YOU!
