So Far Behind...

Goodness, I can't believe I haven't blogged since our Spring Break trip! It's just CRAZY how time flies!! Nothing really huge has happened, but we have definitely been busy!

The weekend of March 28 (am I seriously blogging about March in May! Wow!) we had some friends over and got the fire pit going. We didn't stay up too late because I was singing at church the whole day the next day, but it was great hanging out with friends! My sweet friend Meredith came in town to visit too! Always a much needed girl time!

On April 10th we went to watch the Drillers play downtown with some friends. I honestly can't even tell you who won! I'm sure I was just talking the whole game and not paying any attention! I love getting to watch the fireworks show after though!

On April 11 the Special Olympics had an Area meet at Catoosa High School. My co-coach and I took our cheerleaders to cheer for BA! It was such a neat experience getting to watch the girls cheer them on and ALL of the kiddos there loved the girls and wanted to get lots of pictures with them! So precious!!

That morning Trevor and a friend decided to go turkey hunting and they got one!!!

It sounded like such a neat experience! I think it was Trevor's first turkey to kill!

On April 21 a group of my friends from g-phi at college got together and we had a "cheese" night. It was so much fun and DELICIOUS!!

Seriously, so yummy!!! It's always good to see these girls and hang out!

I am also so excited to announce some fun news...no, I'm not pregnant!! ;) but I am looping with my students!! That means that next year I will be teaching 7th grade math and I will have my same students from this year again next year! I could not be more thrilled!! Such a neat opportunity! I am definitely nervous about the 7th grade curriculum, but it will be totally worth it!!

April 27th was Trevor's birthday, so the weekend before we decided to invite people over to Trevor's mom's house and have a bonfire.
We had LOTS of delicious foods! We literally cooked food all day...Bologna, sausage, jalapeƱo poppers, lots of dips, etc...and hung out by the bonfire and played corn hole that evening. I just love days like that!

This past weekend we had another relaxing/hang out all day Saturday. Our neighbors had people over, so we (again) cooked all day. Smoked some bologna, chicken and ribs, had some amazing dips and desserts and just hung out all afternoon. We seriously have the BEST neighbors!!! I am so thankful for each and every one of them!

This week has been fun because it is Teacher Appreciation Week!!
Each day the school has provided us with breakfast or lunch and the students are so sweet! I've gotten some really cute stuff and the hand written notes are the BEST!! I honestly have the best students this year! They have made teaching so enjoyable! I can't wait to teach them in 7th grade too! :)

Well, that is our life in a nutshell! I can't believe there are only 14 days of school left! This year has just flown by!! Definitely excited for summer and sun!!
